Microsoft purchased LinkedIn for $26.2 billion, the most they’ve ever spent on an acquisition.
According to CIO.com it’s because, “LinkedIn is an ideal source for preparing for meetings with prospects. It already has a Sales Navigator tool for helping sales teams find prospects, get introductions and understand what those prospects care about.”
