Aviva LLC is the legal name of the company’s d/b/a, “The Database Diva.” We’ve assembled a team of very bright and experienced database marketers who know how to get your data-driven sales and marketing projects up and running fast and profitably. We look forward to talking with you.

Lori Feldman, President

Lori Feldman has helped thousands of business leaders and sales professionals make more money with their customer database. Her client portfolio includes work with AT&T, International Coach Academy, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Yellow Freight, Reuters, St. Louis Cardinals, and Wells Fargo, as well as SMBs worldwide.  The story behind why she named her company “The Database Diva” was featured in a chapter of Jim Kukral’s best-seller, “Attention: This Book Will Make You Money. How To Use Attention-Getting Online Marketing To Increase Your Revenue.”

Lori’s gift is seeing the monetization opportunities within a company’s disorganized and bloated data files. She understands which standardization, clean-up and optimization processes are required, in what order and which ones are only “nice to have.”  Her experience in working with multiple CRM and marketing automation technology systems has saved her clients money and prepared them to launch sales-generating marketing campaigns faster.

She is a national speaker on marketing automation, drip marketing, database marketing and social networking. She is a past-president of the Direct Marketing Association of St. Louis who awarded her its top prize: The “Direct Marketer of the Year” Award. As editor of “The Database Marketing Hotwire,” the company’s e-newsletter, she has been the recipient of the APEX Award for Excellence in Newsletter Writing 3 years in a row.  Lori holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

She also created the first Academy for drip marketing with her Drip Marketing Camp. Campers receive hand-holding instruction to boost business with better client follow-up by executing campaigns themselves.

Stacia Lee Shinaberry, Vice President

With over 25 years of experience, Stacia Shinaberry spent the first half of her career working as a:

  • List Broker
  • Traditional Media Buyer
  • Advertising Consultant
  • Direct Marketing Expert (Direct Mail, Database Segmentation and Analysis)
  • Marketing Consultant (Building Partnerships, Ethnic Marketing Strategy & Solutions, Event Marketing & Fundraising Campaigns)

That work led her to be recruited by AT&T, the Kansas City Star, The Star Tribune in Minneapolis and the San Jose Mercury News at the time in history when “mass media” revenue was under fire from the surge in popularity of “targeted and direct” marketing.

Stacia was the first person in publishing to crack the code on how to integrate “new media” with “old media.” She implemented a culture of change at each company and built new Direct Marketing divisions that resulted in new incremental revenue of $10 million.

Now that online marketing is today’s reality, many companies struggle with how to generate leads, find new customers, increase profit margins, stay ahead of their competition and be found globally online. She’s already cracked the code for our clients on this one, too!

She has spent the last several years helping companies of all sizes, both B2B and B2C, develop strategy and implement tactics to:

  • Build new or revamp websites into “Lead Generation Machines”
  • Improve SEO/SEM to increase web traffic
  • Help select and set-up CRM & Marketing Automation tools to increase efficiency
  • Clean up, enhance and analyze databases to maximize effectiveness
  • Develop Social Media Campaigns to build brand & increase conversations with clients & prospects
  • Start or expand Email and Drip Marketing Campaigns to develop & nurture clients and move them through the sales funnel
  • Integrate traditional offline advertising with new online marketing channels so that they work seamlessly together

Todd Viau, Vice President of Technology

According to one of our customers, Todd is “by far the best CRM consultant in the business and is absolutely outstanding and accessible.” He has been with The Database Diva for more than 19 years.  In that time, he has converted many databases from one CRM system to another as the companies’ needs changed (or the whim of the marketplace prevailed). His conversions have included databases to or from Hubspot, Swiftpage ACT!, Salesforce, SugarCRM, MSCRM, SageCRM, Zoho and Infusionsoft.

Todd is also known as an IT department’s go-to IT guy. Several of our clients are IT solutions providers themselves who retain Todd to oversee their clients’ CRM and marketing automation installations and technical support. (Often, Todd has been the IT guy for many clients who have no IT resource.)

Todd is also in charge of our marketing automation training department. He’s equally accomplished at helping clients learn something new or figuring out a complex solution to a client challenge. Repeatedly, clients tell us that Todd makes the complicated very simple. Which is critical since Todd gets to go home and clients must live with their new CRM or marketing automation software. Todd has helped clients set up and implement campaigns in Pardot, Infusionsoft, Ontraport, Hatchbuck, Hubspot, Swiftpage, Marketo, and many more.

Dustin knows the science of SEO and can ensure your business will be found in the search engines. Whether you need help with a brand new website or a redesign of your outdated website, he finds the solution to fit your requirements and budget.

Brooke Rausch Lamson, Senior Content Editor

Brooke is a retired City Desk Editor for the Flint (MI) Journal, after serving as reporter, managing editor and, finally, City Desk Editor for 25 years. In 2009 she published and produced the Fenton (MI) 175th Anniversary Souvenir Book. Brooke has written compelling drip marketing campaigns for seemingly boring topics—such as Obamacare, air filters and vitamins—and all have generated readership and revenue. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri.

Carolyn Mandlman, CFO

Carolyn is over-qualified as Aviva’s CFO, having run the Frame Factory picture framing chain of 9 retail stores plus a wholesale/commercial division for 30 years. But we let her work here anyway. She keeps threatening to retire, but she has such a firm grasp of Aviva’s financials and our support services department that we keep her chained to her chair. Carolyn is our “canary in the mine.” If we can teach her how to enter contacts into a CRM, we can teach anybody.
