Company Background: The Database Diva is a 10-year-old marketing automation consulting agency that works with colleges and universities to automate their student and alumni recruitment process.
We are looking for permanent, long-term Marketing Reps. We currently have one full-time and one part-time position available.
Job Description: You will make cold calls between 8am – 5pm Central, Monday – Friday, to a list of qualified prospects at colleges and university admissions departments to set appointments with high-level faculty. This requires the ability to feel comfortable communicating in a professional and effective manner with heads of departments, Deans and other administrators.
Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of successful business to business telphone cold-calling experience, have a passion for sales, be well spoken on the phone, have a sound understanding of general business, be self-motivated, have a dedicated follow-through attitude and demonstrate good computer skills.
Preferred but not required: full-time availability, 3+ years with a successful track record as an inside sales rep, teleprospector, sales appointment setter or lead generator cold-calling from home, formal sales training and online CRM experience (ACT, Salesforce, Zoho, Sugar).
The Database Diva offers performance-based pay. Top reps earn $40K+/year
This is a telecommute position, meaning you will work from your home office on a company-provided computer telephone. You must have the following in order to work for us:
* High speed internet connection
* PC or Mac with internet access
* A quiet place to make phone calls
* Free Skype account to communicate with our office
We provide you with up to 4 hours of training. You do not need to know what marketing automation is or understand our business to excel in this job. We provide you with our proven script and answers to common questions. At the end of 30 days on the job, we pay you a $100 training stipend.
